Latihan

We have adapted the ancient and ambiguous practise of Latihan into a contemporary form of meditation that through practice can help the seeker embody a more peaceful relationship with themselves and clearer understanding of how they are engaging and connecting with themselves and others and the environment that is created as a result.

In this gentle yet powerful explortation, we will take a little time to let our distractions and agendas fall away. We'll consciously drop away from over active thinking and into our bodies, slow down and learn to sense ourselves presently in a hyper aware way.  We will witness our nervous systems relax and naturally come into synchronicity with the environment and the collective group.

The first half of the evening will explore the subtlty of energetic connection. How do we block connection and how do we react to others blocking us? And ultimately how do we become aware to get past the blocks nd show up authentically.

The latter half of the journey will be blindfolded and include gentle touch for increased sensitivity and revelation. The full journey together allows you to experience the dicernment between what your mind habitually seeks and what your being wants to feel nourished, held and loved, bringing more coherance and safety to the system.

This is a fully clothed journey and held in a safe, facilitated container. It explores first and foremost the connection with self but there is also the opportunity to explore the subtleties of intimacy, connection, sensitivity and creativity.

We celebrate and encourage fusion of all identities and orientations.

Being a human being in the modern world is a complex business, we are conditioned to be on high alert with a twenty four hour news cycle that focuses on click bait. Add that to countless generations of unconscious, repressed emotions, communication and sexuality and we get a weary, suspicious and disconnected community projecting their fears and repression outwards onto their world and looking at one another as commodities rather than multi dimensional souls.

All from one divine source and running through all of the connections in our world. People return to this practice again and again as each journey holds new discoveries. This meditation can help to maintain a stronger feeling of belonging in the human community, saftety in the body and being and discernment in the mind, body, spirit relationship.
